Five transformative programs preserving Rohingya heritage while building sustainable futures through innovative education and community empowerment
Five comprehensive initiatives designed to preserve culture, educate children, empower youth and women, and strengthen community bonds
We preserve and promote the Rohingya language and culture through teaching, storytelling, and materials development. Our programs foster literacy and foundational learning for children, ensuring that future generations remain connected to their heritage.

We provide inclusive educational opportunities tailored to Rohingya children, bridging learning gaps through tutoring, remedial classes, and access to essential resources. Our aim is to build a strong educational foundation for every child.
We equip teenagers and young adults with practical, market-relevant skills that enhance employability and entrepreneurship. Through hands-on training and mentorship, we empower youth to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

We create safe, inclusive spaces for women to learn and grow. Our programs include literacy, tailoring, and other vocational skills that foster financial independence, confidence, and leadership within households and the broader community.
We collaborate with community leaders, educators, and global partners to maximize impact. By promoting awareness of Rohingya culture, facilitating learning opportunities, and ensuring accountability, we build sustainable programs that create lasting change.

Through these five interconnected programs, ESDR creates a holistic ecosystem of support that addresses immediate needs while building long-term sustainability
Each program addresses specific community needs while contributing to overall empowerment and development goals.
Our programs are designed for long-term impact, creating lasting change that benefits current and future generations.
All initiatives are developed with deep community input, ensuring cultural relevance and maximum effectiveness.
ESDR is committed to creating sustainable opportunities and improving the quality of life for the Rohingya community. Building on our current achievements, we have identified key initiatives that will empower individuals, strengthen livelihoods, and enhance community well-being.
We will launch a comprehensive sewing program to equip vulnerable Rohingya women with marketable skills. Graduates will receive sewing machines to establish independent livelihoods, generate income, and enhance the economic resilience of their families.
Understanding the importance of technology in today’s world, we will provide basic computer skills training to Rohingya youth. This initiative will empower the next generation with essential digital literacy, opening doors to education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
To enhance communication skills and broaden future prospects, we will introduce spoken English courses. These will be delivered through at least two new learning centers per camp, ensuring accessible, high-quality language education for all community members.
Recognizing that education and well-being go hand in hand, we will implement health and hygiene programs across the camps, providing essential tools and awareness campaigns to promote safer, healthier living environments.
Through these projects, ESDR envisions a community where women achieve economic independence, youth gain critical skills, and families thrive in healthy, empowered environments. With donor support, these initiatives will translate our mission into measurable, life-changing impact.
