Education and Skill Development for Rohingya (ESDR) is a community-driven nonprofit established in July 2025 with a mission to safeguard the Rohingya language and culture while building brighter futures through education and skills training. For generations, the Rohingya language has remained unwritten and unknown to much of the world. At ESDR, we are working to change that by documenting, teaching, and celebrating our cultural heritage so that it may live on with pride.
Beyond preservation, we believe in empowerment. We strive to ensure that every Rohingya child has access to quality education, every youth has the opportunity to learn market-driven skills to overcome unemployment, and every woman is equipped with the tools, literacy, and training such as tailoring and entrepreneurship that fosters independence and dignity.
Our dedicated leadership drives ESDR’s mission forward with passion and expertise. Each member brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our cause, ensuring effective guidance and strategic direction for impactful work.
